Creating Space For Sherman Oaks Residents to Enjoy the Los Angeles River

IMT’s vision will embrace the Los Angeles river revitalization plan. Seating gardens, water features, and open landscapes with furniture niches will link the LA River to the surrounding neighborhood. Community amenities such as wireless connectivity and public access to parkways will truly make the IMT Sherman Oaks Project an interactive campus for all. The new design will increase planting areas and will provide public landscape amenities from Riverside Drive to the LA River on the southern boundary of the site. Native plant materials will provide natural habitats for wildlife along the river corridor and will reduce irrigation demands while it blends with the future design of the LA River project.
